Nick Dalton How Would You Like to Have One of the Most Experienced App Entrepreneurs in the World as Your Personal Coach to Ask Any Questions Related Specifically to YOUR App Business?

Imagine how that would accelerate your business...

Think of all the shortcuts you can take based on proven experience and all the costly mistakes you can avoid...

Here are Just a Few of the Things I Can Assist You With...

  • With close to a million apps in the App Store, marketing is more important than ever. Together we can create a tailored marketing plan for your app and your budget.
  • If you are just starting out and you have an idea for an app, I can evaluate your app idea and provide constructive feedback to turn your wonderful idea into a well defined app proposal.
  • One of the important considerations when you are refining your app idea is to decide what features to include in the app and what to leave out of the first release, or drop entirely. With my experience in what is expected in high quality apps combined with my development expertise, I can guide you to make best use of your limited resources.
  • Once you have refined your app idea and decided on the core set of features, the next step is to create the user experience. In this young business very few people have the required expertise and experience to create truly useful apps that are designed for the small screen and limited processing resources of a phone or tablet.
  • Effectively monetizing your app is the difference between having an App Business and having a costly hobby. I can guide you through the jungle of available options and make recommendations based on your specific app and your needs.
  • If you are a developer I can answer your coding questions when you get stuck or need some advice. I’ve worked with rank beginners as well as seasoned veteran programmers who are just starting out with mobile development.
  • In my career I have interviewed literally hundreds of developers. I can help you vet freelance developer candidates. I will even give you my personal list of developer qualifying questions that I’ve assembled over the years.
  • Code reviews is an important part of creating a high quality - and maintainable - app. If you are a developer I’m happy to review and critique your code to make you a better mobile programmer. If you have hired a freelance developer, I can review the code to provide an honesty check that you are getting value for the money you’re spending.
  • Create an app rescue plan. If you have already launched your app, nothing is more disappointing than seeing your baby just sit in the App Store without making any sales. I will advice you on changes you can make to your app and your marketing to get the app out of the doldrums and start making the money you deserve.

Make Sure You ONLY Work With a Coach Who Has a Proven Track Record in Their Own Business...

In his book Outliers Malcolm Gladwell coined the "10,000-Hour Rule", which posits that it takes about 10,000 hours of dedicated practice to truly master a skill. I worked for Ericsson Mobile in the early 1990’s, developed software for Blackberries before anyone had heard of apps, and I’ve been developing for iPhone and iPad since day one.

Not only have I put in the time (over 10,000 hours) and the practice to truly call my self an expert. But I have also achieved unparalleled success for my clients:

  • Had five apps live out of the first five hundred on the App Store on opening day in 2008.
  • I’ve been quoted by and had apps featured in BusinessWeek and the Wall Street Journal.
  • Elance, one of the largest online marketplaces to find freelance workers, came to me to help them develop a skills assessment test to certify iPhone developers on their site.
  • More apps than I can keep track of have been featured by Apple in various ways:
    • Hot News – App Store Pick of the Week
    • Apps highlighted in the coveted banner ad slots at the top of iTunes
    • Apps selected for promotion in topic specific areas of iTunes
    • Apple Staff Favorites
    • Noteworthy Apps
    • One app was featured on stage during an Apple keynote presentation. (The rehearsals for the presentation were brutal...)
    • #1 and #3 most downloaded app in the Books category. (The first one was back in 2008 and the most recent one just a few weeks ago. You see, I’ve been doing this consistently for the past six years.)
    • #1 and #4 most sold apps in the Entertainment category. (Simultaneously, two different apps.)
    • Top-15 overall free apps and overall best selling apps in the entire App Store.
    • Top-5 top grossing app for several months in a row.
  • I’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies and international behemoths, but most of all I like to work with small startups and independent app entrepreneurs. One of my favorite assignments was when an employee at Apple’s iPhone hardware division came to me for help with developing an app. (That was before Apple put the kibosh on app businesses on the side for employees.)

Blogs, Books, StackOverflow and Other Information Products Are Great Learning Tools, But One-On-One Coaching Will Take You to The Next Level

There are a few good books, training courses, and seminars out there which can help you in your app business. I have spent thousands of dollars purchasing the best ones, and countless hours going through them, making detailed notes and extracting the most useful knowledge from them.

But static information products are no replacement for a coach and mentor who works with you on your business personally.

You need business advice and help that applies to your situation and your apps. You don’t just want one-size-fits-all marketing tools and plans. You want something designed especially for you…and you want someone you can ask questions of and personally talk to about improving your business results.

My only caution to you in this area is you make sure you deal with a coach who has succeeded themselves first.

When you join my coaching program, you contact me personally. You won’t deal with some outsourced help-desk worker and you won’t be dealing with someone “practicing” their business skills on you. You’ll have access to me and you’ll be given proven systems of success for your app business.

You Have Two Options Of One-On-One Coaching/Mentoring With Me

The first option is "email only" coaching. You get my private email address and can send me email questions and I'll answer them within 24 hours Monday through Friday.

Usually my detailed email replies to your questions will occur in the early afternoon as I start to check my email around 12 noon MST. Keep in mind that it may take a couple of hours to reply to all my clients from the previous day.

That's an email every day Monday through Friday. All I ask is you try to be as specific as possible about the problem you're facing to give you the best solution for your situation.

Your emails will never be handed off to an employee or an outsourced worker. I deal with them personally. It's the only way you can have one-on-one contact with me directly.

The cost of email-only coaching is currently only $500 per month.

Would you also like to have the opportunity to get on the phone with me once a week?

Some clients love the one-on-one interaction that phone coaching provides. It allows for more direct conversation back and forth to really cut right to the heart of the situation.

With this enhanced program you get weekly 30 minute coaching calls with me personally, in addition to the email coaching. Normally we schedule these calls on the same day and time each week so that you have regular check-in points to keep you on track towards your goals.

If you like, I can record these calls for you and send you the recording immediately after the session. That way you can be fully immersed in the conversation and not have to pause to take notes ever-so often.

The cost of email + phone coaching is currently $1,000 per month.

No Long-Term Contracts or Commitments Required

Obviously this program isn’t for everyone. You noticed I didn’t hide the price and make you call me on the phone to find out how much it costs. My experience has been that anyone who makes you do that is ashamed of their prices and intent on doing a very hard sale process where they keep bugging you to sign-up with them.

The costs shown above are very low for one-on-one coaching. Especially when compared to other options available to you such as information products. Many such products cost $1,000 to $5,000 or more. And after you pay them your hard earned money, you rarely get to interact with the product creator in any meaningful way.

You can cancel your membership in this program at any time. You're in control of this. Since I'm billing through Paypal (you can pay through your Paypal account, any major credit card, or online check), you just login to your account and cancel anytime you want.

I recommend you plan for at least several months of coaching when you sign up, because success is rarely instant in the app world. It takes some time and commitment. Only in this coaching program, you're the one in control of the commitment....not me!

I've seen those coaching programs that require you to pay $10,000 or more upfront. Who are they kidding? It's not for your benefit. It's for theirs because most of their clients wouldn't keep paying them once they realized the expert wasn't the one doing the coaching.

In this program, you're in control. If I don't prove you the advice you need to dramatically increase your profits, you can cancel at anytime.

If you want to take a beak in your coaching for some time for whatever reason, that’s ok too. You can cancel and rejoin at a later time when you need more coaching help. But keep in mind that I cannot guarantee that there will a slot available in the program exactly at the time when you want to rejoin. There is also a risk that the price of the program will increase due to increased demand. Active clients will always enjoy the low monthly fee they joined at, regardless of any future price increases.

But as I said, this program isn’t for everyone. This program is for highly motivated people who want to see business growth and take their lives back. You want the financial freedom and lifestyle that comes from having a successful app business.

I Can Not Guarantee Your Success

I can't guarantee your success, because I don't know your background or your work ethic. If you join this program and don't put in the effort, you won't achieve the results you're looking for. You'll only grow your business if you apply what you learn and take advantage of everything I'm offering you here.

This program does not contain any guarantees other than the fact that I will make myself available to you. There are no refunds on this because I put a lot of time and effort into each of my clients.

Only For a Select Few

I take my role as a coach and mentor very seriously, and I commit a significant amount of time to each of my clients. Since there’s a limited amount of time available in a day, I have to limit the number of slots in this coaching program to 5 (five) at any given time.

If you are interested in joining this unique coaching program, please fill out and submit the short form below. You will receive an email asking a number of questions about you, your current app business, your goals and your problems. Please reply back to me with your honest answers as soon as possible as slots for this program fill up quickly. Don’t exaggerate your current position; it’s ok to be just starting out in the app business. My job as your coach is to help you achieve your goals of building a successful app business from wherever you are right now.

Please note that you are not committing to anything by filling out this form. You’re just saying that you might be interested in joining and you would like to learn more about the program.

If I feel that there is a good fit, and there are open slots available in the program, then I will invite you to join. We will then kickoff the process immediately with an one hour phone or Skype call where we discuss your business, your current problems and your goals in more detail.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
