Debug is a podcast that I highly recommend. It’s a conversation about developing software. It’s not primarily about code and programming techniques, but more about looking at development at a higher level. So even if you are not a hardcore programmer I think you’ll enjoy it.
Recently they had a two part series with Don Melton, former Director of Internet Technologies at Apple, and Nitin Ganatra, former Director of iOS Apps at Apple. I found it fascinating to hear about the early days of development of iPhone OS. How do you come up with new user experience paradigms for a touch screen device that nobody has any prior experience with and still make it easy to use? Fascinating stuff.
